Manna's first surgery

On July 2nd Manna had her cerclage done. Just to make sure that the babies stay inside as they grow and put more pressure on the cervix.
Manna was impressed again with the great American healthcare. They take really good care of her and the surgery went really well.
Now there is no way our for the babies only the C-section in God's timing.

Sharing the news

On June 30th we announced the news in the Manley family that we are expecting. Not only one or two or three or four but quintuplets. Dave's dad
s first reaction was: "how many is that"??? Well, FIVE BABIES.
On July 1st we would finally openly share with our friends as well. We had a nice get toghether. It was so funny to see people's reaction.
We knew whatever will happen it's in our Heavenly Father's hands, who wants the best for us and our babies. We handed out our prayer requests.

First OB appointment

On June 13th we had our first OB appointment with an amazing team, which is specialized on high risk including multiple pregnancies.
We were so excited and so were they. Quintuplets??? Finally some adventure :) It was quite funny how they were all trying to identify our five babies: Baby A, B, C, D and E.
We knew right away this team will be a huge blessing for us and we are absolutely in the best hands!

First news

May 21st- our doctor's office has just called me at work: "Congratulations girl, you are pregnant, your test came back positive". My reaction?? I didn't know whether to cry or laugh. Our dream came true not knowing the story has just begun.

Couple days later we reapeted the test and the next day I received a phone call again: you HCG is almost 4 times higher than with a singleton pregnancy. My next question was are we expecting twins? She was hesitant...no more. I was so excited words cannot describe. Dave was more careful he said I beleive when I see...
We had to wait 2 more weeks for the first ultrasound. We were more excited to know how many are we expecing than before the 21st finding out if we are pregnant.
